alLA hon ho KUri-os suNISt*e*-sin [4921].

*but he whom the Lord commends.*

*NOTE**: *For me, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 is the key sentence in this chapter.
I memorized it many years ago, and it has served me well. It seems that the
last bastions against God to fall in our lives - are our *thoughts*
and *thinking
processes*.

There is an analogy from the OT that tends to clarify the seriousness of
this omission in the eyes of God. Out of some 20 kings of Judah after the
disruption of the kingdom of Israel following Solomon's serious lapse, *only
9* were good. And of these 9, only 2 removed the *High Places*: Hezekiah and
Josiah! *This* pleased God! And when *we* remove *our* high places, and
think *God's* thoughts after Him instead of our own - this is the
transformation that God is looking forward to in *us*, by the *renewing of
our mind*, Romans 12:2.

*This* is the way of thinking that was in Paul! *This* is the secret of the
unfolding of the whole of 2 Corinthians 10. Let us too bring *every* thought
into captivity to Christ! - J.A.W.
