   *2008-11-04 - EMPOWERMENT: AUTOMATED LASER-TELESCOPE*

 In 1967 I received 2 visions in answer to prayer. The first had to do with
an organic automated Laser-Telescope composed of 7 parts. But the
interpretation didn't come till 1985. Part of the interpretation is an:

 *Overview of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI}*

 An important program during the administration of President Ronald Reagan
was the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI). This program was also called
"Star Wars" by the popular press. It was a proposed defensive shield to
shoot down enemy missiles. The program was very expensive but resulted in
winning the Cold War with the Soviets.

 *SDI helps downfall of Soviets*

SDI ultimately proved very successful since it was instrumental in causing
the downfall of the Soviet Union. After the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist
Republics) was disbanded and Communism was discontinued, Russian officials
admitted that SDI was the reason. Little was said about this in the American
press.

 *Summary*

The Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) was an attempt to put a defensive
shield around the United States to protect against Soviet missile attacks.
The Russians spent so much money trying to counter this shield, that it
contributed to the downfall of the Soviet system.

 In 1967 I had received a vision of what I took to be a telescope. It was
assembled in an observatory, with 7 component parts. The vision was a
spiritual overview and application of the SDI briefly outlined above, and
promoted by President Ronald Reagan.

 What I saw and learned in 1985 was an automated Laser Telescope, and
written up I believe in the National Geographic March 1983 issue.

 Although the concept that interested President Reagan did not come to
fruition, what I saw in vision as a spiritual counterpart I believe already
has in part - and in the near future, will more so. As I looked through the
eye-piece of this just-assembled instrument, I could see a black spot in the
heavens. Suddenly there was a blinding flash emitted from this instrument,
and the black spot disappeared. After discovering the National Geographic
write-up, I heard God say, "Call this 'Spiritual Star Wars.'" 8 dedicated
individuals who meet the conditions and requirements of Prayer
Multiplication based on Covenant, will be able to receive divine direction
in pointing to the principalities and powers over cities, areas, states and
provinces, and nations. These will be destroyed by the spiritual equivalent
of a laser ray.

 So even if the hope and desire of President Reagan didn't materialize - its
spiritual equivalent and counterpart can!

 Under the SDI concept, atomic power was required to initiate the
empowerment to produce an adequate laser effect. Under the Spiritual Star
Wars concept, empowerment is *also necessary* for the teams of 8 who offer
themselves to God as an *organic* automated laser telescope. Below I am
listing the 9 sources for this spiritual power that city teams need to avail
themselves of.

 *1. Prayer Multiplication*

In the preceding Archive article dated November 3, 2008, I deal with this
concept, so will not repeat that material here. Suffice it to say, my wife
Marie and I married in obedience to the leading of the Lord on this concept.
In June of 1948 the Lord queried me - "If I would link you with one, that
together you could count more for Me than either of you could alone, would
you do it?" And I answered in the affirmative, but added that there was only
one girl like that, Marie Gaudet, and she was Catholic and lived a lifestyle
far more outgoing than mine - so I was safe! Then on June 30th I received an
8 page letter from her, telling how she was reading the Bible 8 hours and 12
hours a day without stopping! My heart stopped.

 That Fall Marie made the decision to enter God's Kingdom according to His
conditions of Mark 8:34. She then told the Lord how much she loved Him, and
what could she do to repay His love to her? He told her that she could marry
Jim Watt. Just as I had offered myself to the Lord with the "Gift of
Singleness" for Him, so Marie did not have marriage in her future plans,
especially marriage to a minister! But God! And that same year on December
27th we were married in Port Alberni BC, and had our first date on our
honeymoon. It was all so sudden that we brought another couple, who assisted
in our marriage ceremony, along with us. They had been previously married in
close parallel circumstances to us, so they greatly enjoyed our honeymoon!

 Immediately following our marriage, Marie and I entered into the
awesomeness of Prayer Multiplication. God gave us Deuteronomy 32:30,
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and Matthew 18:19, to encourage us in our obedience.
Later in 1993 for 18 months we met with 4 other couples to seek to explore
the Team spirit in Spiritual Star Wars. Several times we sensed the Lord
directing us in *His* goals, and using us to see Satan's clouds removed and
miraculous prayer answers.

 *2. LOgos to REma.*

The LOgos word is often equated with the written word, while the quickened
word of the Spirit - in spiritual gift form is like the R*E*ma. LOgos
appears in the New Testament 330 times, while R*E*ma but 70 - 4 ½ : 1. We
should spend that proportion of time between these two. Unfortunately, too
often we neglect careful, prayerful and blessed meditation over the written
word, to poring over dreams and prophecies and R*E*ma words.

 Often when we read and meditate over the Bible, suddenly a verse will leap
out of the page at us. We may have read it 100 times previously, but God by
His Spirit and in His sovereignty brings it to life and meaning for us!
After some time it then slips back again into a LOgos state.

 See Joshua 1:8 (1-9, ASV '01) *"This book of the law shall not depart out
of your mouth, but you shall **meditate** on it day and night, that you may
observe to do according to all that is written in it: for then you shall
make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success." *Note how *
meditation* over the written word is so prominent! This same concept is in
the New Testament, just as it is in the Old. And - it seems that when this
sudden Spirit-transformation takes place of the LOgos into the R*E*ma, that
*power* is released to bombard spiritual atoms and molecules - releasing
spiritual photons into the laser chamber to produce the laser effect! Just
as Prayer Multiplication releases a similar release and ejection of power -
so LOgos to R*E*ma!

 *3. Dreams and Visions.*

Every night for our mental, emotional and spiritual health, God has arranged
that during sleep we receive a sequence of dreams, each dream going through
a 4-phase 90 minute cycle. All dreams are not significant from God's point
of view. Some come because of the busyness of the preceding day. We need His
discernment at this point. But perhaps 5% do have significance, as both
Joseph and Daniel of the Old Testament experienced. As both these spiritual
men indicated, interpretations are of God! He gives significant dreams, and
*He* gives the interpretations. When this happens, power is released to
contribute in producing the spiritual laser effect.

 A dream from God is a R*E*ma type of visitation, such as Mary in vision (a
vision is as a waking dream) received from Gabriel. See Luke 1:37-38 -
*"Because
no word (R**E**ma) from :God shall be void of **power**. **38 **And Mariam
said, Lo, the bondmaid of **the** Lord; be it unto me according to your
:word (R**E**ma). And the angel departed from her." *

 Also see Job 33:13-18 - *" Why do you strive against him, For that he gives
not account of any of his matters? **14 **For God speaks once, Yes twice, **
though** **man** regards it not. **15** In a **dream**, in a **vision** of
the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, In slumberings upon the bed; **16
** Then he opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction, **17** That
he may withdraw man **from his** purpose, And hide pride from man; **18** He
keeps back his soul from the pit, And his life from perishing by the sword."
*Here God has Elihu give 4 reasons for the importance of dreams from God's
vantage point. And be sure that there is a release of *power* in each case.
Have you not noticed that when you hear a dream or vision recounted that is
truly of God in the 5% - that the hearers sense an unusual atmosphere or
presence released in the telling? Note how Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar
responded to their dreams and the interpretations by Joseph and Daniel!

 *4. Incubation.*

Dr. David Yonggi Cho of Seoul, South Korea speaks of this in connection with
Hebrews 11:1 - *"Now faith is assurance of **things** hoped **for, **conviction
of things unseen." * All through chapter 11 of this book the author recounts
those who received a promise from God - but then like Joseph had to wait
until God's timing for the time of fulfillment. God could plan and work out
such an act! See each of those recounted in Hebrews 11, and a similar
release once incubation is complete. Impatience ill behooves one when he is
in the process of incubation.

It took 13 years for God to release *power* of deliverance for Joseph!

 *5. Gift of the Spirit.*

There is no doubt about the release of *power* (DUna-mis) that takes place
for the one who has received a genuine baptism in the Holy Spirit. Oswald
Chambers, George Muller, John Wesley and Rees Howells are just 4 examples of
this genuine experience. All 4 had manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit
that powerfully followed the reception of the initial gift (d*o*-reA). See
how this is recorded in Acts 1:8 (6-12) - *"But you shall receive **power**,
when the Holy Spirit is come upon you": and you shall be my witnesses both
in Jerusalem, and in all :Judaea and Samaria, and unto **the** uttermost of
the earth."*

 11 times the word gift (d*o*-reA) of the Holy Spirit is mentioned in the
New Testament. Each reference is connected with an unusual release of *power
*. See Ephesians 3:7 (1-13) -*"**the Gospel - **by which I became
**a**minister, according the the
** **gift** of the grace of :God :given me according to the working of his :
**power**."*

 This is Paul's word as to the explanation for his extraordinary ministry
(the founding of 14 city churches!), and the cause of the working of God's *
power* through him.

 *6. Presbytery.*

Something happens when the elders in the gate of each city church, (these
elders are always of the 5-fold of Ephesus 4:11: apostles, prophets,
evangelists, pastors and teachers) operate in ordaining elders and deacons,
commissioning missionaries (as in Acts 13:1-3) and healing the sick - James
5:14-16 913-20) *"Is any among you sick? let him call for the elders of the
church; and let them pray over him, having anointed **him** with oil in the
name of the Lord: **15** and the prayer of :faith shall save the weary one,
and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be
forgiven him." *

 For those of you who have attended Presbytery or Eldership meetings where
one or more of the above operations have taken place, you will be able to
testify of the anticipation and even excitement of the majority there - for
there is a presence of *power* at such meetings.

 *7. Hands.*

God is pleased to use our hands - especially those called into an Eldership
company. Yet He is pleased to use the hands of any believer in blessing. See
Mark 16:17-18 (9-18) - *"And these signs shall follow them that have
believed: in my :name shall they cast out demons, speak with tongues;
**18**and in the
**ir** hands they shall take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly,
it shall in no wise hurt them; **they shall lay hands **on **the** sick, and
they shall recover." *This is even one of the Foundations mentioned in
Hebrews 6:1-2 (5:11-6:8) - *"Wherefore leaving the word of the beginning of
the Christ, let us be borne on unto the perfection; not laying again a
foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, **2** the
teaching of baptisms, **and of laying on of hands**, and of resurrection of
**the** dead, and of eternal judgment." *

 But a very extraordinary reference to this 4th doctrine appears in Habakkuk
3:3-4 (1-15) - *"God came from Teman, And the Holy One from mount Paran. His
glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of his praise. **4** And *
*his** brightness was as the light; **He had rays **coming forth** from his
hand**; And **there** was the hiding of his **power**." *Note that
*rays*came out of his hands, and
*there* was the hiding of His *power*! This is a Messianic promise passage,
and indeed Jesus fulfilled it fully, as He laid hands on multitudes for
healing - and on little children for blessing!

 This is certainly an outstanding illustration of the 9-fold empowerment for
the spiritual laser telescope.

 *8. Joy.*

It is extremely important for every believer to press into a place of
intimacy with the Lord, whereby He transfers to us *His Joy*. This is
because of Nehemiah 8:9-10 (9-12) - *"And Nehemiah, who was the governor,
and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said
unto all the people, This day is holy unto Jehovah your God; mourn not, nor
weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
**10**Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the
sweet, and
send portions unto him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy
unto our Lord: **neither be you grieved**; for **the joy of Jehovah is your
strength**." *This great governor and leader recognized that the normal
state of a believer is one of *inward joy*. It has nothing to do with our
situation, circumstances or natural feelings. It is a spiritual impartation
from God Himself. It is *His* joy that He imparts to us. It is for this
reason that our normal inward state is one of *joy* - for in this lies our *
strength* - and through this we obtain a *stronghold*.

 A believer who seeks to walk in a weepy state all the time is missing God's
point. There *is* a time for weeping - but there is *also* a time for joy!
See Ecclesiastes 3! Don't be misled - though Jesus was a man of sorrows and
acquainted with grief - yet *inwardly* the joy of God was always His portion
and His strength. This is why the common people heard Him gladly! Let no one
rob us of our great privilege and responsibility to continually walk in *Jesus'
joy**!* See John 15:11 (1-16) - *"These **things** have I spoken to you,
that **:my :joy** be in you, and **your :joy** be made full." *Here, beyond
any shadow of a doubt - we find Jesus' thinking on this whole matter.

 *9. Beatitudes.*

It is fitting that we end this study at this point. The Israeli tribe of
Asher means "Blessed" or "Happy", from which the "Beatitudes" find their
derivation. Happiness or blessedness is for those who walk in this 9-fold
teaching. But actually, the first 8 of the Beatitudes are the foundations
leading to the capstone, the ninth. The 8th one proclaims us blessed or
happy if we have been persecuted for *righteousness*' sake, and that is -
living a good and upright life morally and ethically. By this we let our
light shine and those who choose to live an opposite life-style will hate us
and persecute us. Today we see this spirit in the gays or homosexuals. But
the ninth Beatitude is especially in reality today! Chaplains of our armed
forces are not even allowed to pray in Jesus' Name! It might
*offend*someone! Franklin Graham was asked not to pray in this name
following 9/11 -
but he refused to be muzzled! And what does Jesus say? Read Matthew 5:11-12
(1-12) - *"Blessed are you when **men** shall reproach you and persecute,
and say all **manner of** evil against you falsely **for my sake**. 12
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad, for great is your :reward in the heavens:
for so persecuted they the prophets :before you." *And note - this is the
only one of the 9 Beatitudes that moves from "blessed or happy" to "leap for
*Joy*" when you are persecuted for My Name's sake - for being identified
with Me - Jesus! Are we ashamed to be identified publicly with Him and His
Name - or do we count it a badge of *honor*?

 "Rejoice" here is *strong*, but *"be exceeding glad"* is from the word
a-gal-liA*o*, appearing 11 times in the New Testament. The noun form is
a-galLIa-sis, 5 times. It is used to show John the Baptist's reaction while
still in his mother's womb - Luke 1:41-45 (39-56) - *"And it came to pass,
when :Elisabeth heard the greeting of :Mariam, the babe leaped in her :womb;
and :Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit; **42** and she lifted up **
her** voice with a loud cry, and said, Blessed you among women, and blessed
the fruit of your :womb. **43** And whence **is** this to me, that the
mother of my :Lord should come unto me? **44** For lo, when the voice of
your :greeting came into my ears, the babe **leaped in my :womb for joy**. *
*45** and blessed she that believed that **there **shall be a fulfillment of
the **things** spoken to her from **the** Lord." *John was a fetus of 6
months at the time, and was fully aware of the significance of Mary's visit,
who was with child of the Holy Spirit - Jesus - the Son of God, and the Son
of man! Just think if Elisabeth had aborted John before or after this time!
Over 40 million child murders have taken place in our land in the last few
decades! Life begins at conception, and this passage reveals the sin of our
nation. John the Baptist recognized Jesus at the time of His conception!

 So - Beatitude 9 speaks a special blessing of rejoicing and almost
uncontrollable joy when we are persecuted for identification with Jesus! *
This* is what Jeremiah and all other Old Testament prophets experienced
because they were identified with Jehovah, the Name incorporated into Jesus
- "*Jehovah is Salvation.*" That is why Jesus said, before Abraham was - *"I
Am.*" This is the meaning of Jehovah, which is not Adonai. Jehovah is 3
parts of the verb "to be." Jesus in Revelation 1:8 says *"I am the Alpha and
the **O**, says **the** Lord :God, **who is and who** **was and who is to
come**, the Almighty." *Ye-h*o*VAH - has all these 3 parts in it. Let us not
be ashamed to be identified with this *all-powerful* Name. It is here that
the *power* of "exceeding joy" is released through this 9th Beatitude.

 *Summary.*

Now - let us put all these 9 sources of *power* together. Let this 9-fold
source bombard spiritual atoms and molecules in the bombarding chamber of
the Organic Automated Laser-Telescope. Let us as members of an 8-fold
Prayer-Multiplication Team, see spiritual photons released into the laser
chamber in unnumbered multitudes! Then let us see them emerge under the
Lord's direction to principality and power targets over cities -
obliterating them completely, and leaving us like David and his army the
responsibility to mop up the remains of this enemy in our city.

 May 70 cities in Canada, and 70 more in the United States experience this
last day defeat of Satan before the Lord returns. It seems the Lord is
saying - "Previously I have not initiated activation for this concept. But *
now* is My time to do so! Amen and Amen!

 *Addendum.*

In the 1967 vision, there were 7 separate *parts* to form this spiritual
automated laser-telescope. The first part represented the Bible Numeric
Interlinear Outlined New Testament by Ivan Panin, with corresponding Book
Outlines, Word Studies and relevant Archive articles..

 The second part represented individual city churches composed of remnant
cooperating local churches - at least 8 per city, with the leader of each
representing one of the elders in the gate of his respective city - the
Presbytery of that city composed of the Ephesians 4:11 5-fold ministries.

 The other 5 parts the Lord did not reveal, as I had nothing to do with
their preparation. Maybe God will show some of you what they represent. Jim
