  *EPHESIANS 4:1-16 - CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT: EQUIPPING** - T3606R*


 *1. 4:1-3 (Panin's NNT) UNITY OF SPIRIT: BASIS FOR EQUIPPING. "I therefore,
the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling
wherewith you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with
longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 giving diligence to keep
the unity of the Spirit in the bond of :peace." *Father, we see one body,
with each of us as members in particular! We discern Your body in one
another. We cannot make it apart from You in us *corporately!** Hallowed be
your :name.*


 *2. 4:4-6 SEVEN UNITIES: ESSENTIAL FOR EQUIPPING. "There is one body, and
one Spirit, even as also you were called in one hope of your :calling: 5 one
Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all,
and through all, and in all." *We bless you Father for these seven Unities!
We embrace them and corporately commit ourselves to them. They are the
common denominator. *Your :kingdom come.*


 *3. 4:7 GRACE FROM HOLY SPIRIT: POWER FOR EQUIPPING. "But to each of us was
the grace given according to the measure of the gift of the Christ." *Father,
we bless You for the 'd*o*reA,' God's artesian well, the *gift* of the Holy
Spirit. We thank You that through this, not only our spiritual needs, but
also our natural needs are met. *Your :will be done, As in heaven, so on
earth.*


 *4. 4:8 MESSIAH'S ASCENSION-GIFTS: PROVISION FOR EQUIPPING. "Wherefore He
says, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts to
:men." *Without the foundation-ascension offices operating in the Church,
none of us will develop as we ought. Unless we as Your corporate Body accept
them without respect of persons, we will lose all. *Our :daily :bread Give
us this day.*


 *5. 4:9 MESSIAH'S INCARNATION: BASIS FOR ATONEMENT FOR EQUIPPING. "(Now the
He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of
the earth?" *Lord Jesus, for us and the departed dead, You ministered and
gave forth the Evangel! Father, we trust You and Your Son in all Your
purposes. Where we do not understand, we still trust. *And forgive us our
:debts, As we also have forgiven our :debtors.*


 *6. 4:10 MESSIAH'S ASCENSION: AUTHORITY FOR EQUIPPING. "Who descended is
the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill
:all things.)" *O the glory of Your workings in Your Son, our Lord Jesus,
Father! You are omnipotent! There is *nothing* too hard for You! You are
Almighty! *And bring us not into temptation.*


 *7. 4:11-12 (11-16) MESSIAH'S OFFICE GIFTS: TOOLS FOR EQUIPPING. "And HE
gave some as apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,
shepherds and teachers; 12 for the perfecting of the saints, unto a work of
ministry, unto a building of the body of the Christ." *Father, we bless You
for the gracious office gifts flowing from Your Son. We submit to these
equipping ministries, and magnify You! *But deliver us from the evil *one.


 *NOTE:* A text without a context - is a *pretext!* We should never seek to
interpret and understand a verse of Scripture except *first* we have made a
careful study of the context.


 This is the reason I felt God directing me to accept His commission to make
an Interlinear Outlined Numeric Greek New Testament on his two NT texts.


 The Jehovah Witnesses offered to do this for him after the pattern of their
Emphatic Diaglott. :Panin, however had to refuse their most welcome offer,
because they were a Cult. Panin died in October, 1942, without realizing the
fulfillment of his dream and desire.


 Now - he being dead - yet speaks! God understood the desire of his heart.
He well realized the 50 years and 100,000 hours of labor Panin put into this
project. It is for this reason I had a desire to bring Panin's work to
fulfillment. It was for this same reason I have withstood at least 4 others
who offered to help, but who so undercut the vision of Panin, that I have
felt obligated to warn against them. Like Sanballat, Tobiah the Ammonite,
and Geshem the Arabian, who discovered the purpose of Nehemiah to rebuild
the broken down wall of Jerusalem - they too first offered to help but were
rejected. Then they sought to intimidate the Jewish workers, but were
thwarted by the wisdom of Nehemiah.


 One without invitation sought to make an Interlinear Greek NT based on
Panin - but *COMPLETELY* eliminated Panin's English text, and substituted
his own, even to the point of using "washings" instead of "baptism!" Beware
of such - for who needs enemies when they have such so-called friends?


 Back to contexts! To understand the full meaning of the 5-fold ministries
of Ephesians 4:11-12 - it is essential to see them in the context of
Ephesians 4:1-16, and then in the context of the entire book of Ephesians.
Ephesians was the first first 6 chapters I completed of the 260 chapters of
the Interlinear Outlined Numeric Greek NT. The format is along the line of
Winston Churchill's speeches - and Peter Marshall's sermons.


 The Greek Word Studies accompanying Ephesians 4:11-12 will aid in
understanding God's clear definitions. Jim Watt
