for Abraham's inheritance, but a son through his wife Sarah! God told
Abraham that the son through Sarah was to be called “Isaac -
laughter” (Genesis 1:19) - and the covenant would be established
through him, not Ishmael. God's choice prior to Christ was the Jewish
nation of Israel, promised 4000 years ago.
